Eating for Health Lecture Series | Lecture 5 on May 11, 2015

National Taiwan University Institute of Food Science and Technology, the Taiwan Association for Food Protection, and the National Center for Food Safety Education and Research are proud to host the first in an ongoing lecture series on healthy eating. The lecture series is intended to provide consumers with food safety, nutrition, and health information.

The lectures will also provide consumers with the tools for judging the safety and effectiveness of nutritional supplements and health remedies and knowledge of treatment for diet-related ailments. The series will also focus on healthy eating and diet as disease-prevention. Lectures will feature presentations by food, nutrition, and health experts who will share their expert knowledge as well as practical solutions to everyday dietary challenges.

Lectures will be grounded in scientific research and prevented in an academic setting in order to assure consumers of reliability. Though grounded in academic research, the lectures will not be presented in technical terms, but are intended to be accessible to the public and to provide useful information to those who do not already have a nutrition or health background.

The fifth lecture of the series will take place on Monday, May 11 from 19:00 – 21:00 at National Taiwan University, the Institute Food Science and Technology, in room 102A. The lectures are free and open to the public, but there is limited seating. Please register at the link below to reserve a seat.
